Oh, well the kingdom all of course started from the North Star crashing on the planet after its trajectory was diverted after escaping earth, the ship sank into the quicksand underneath and with what supplies they were able to salvage, they built the capital on top and of course made sure no, unnecessary creatures got close.
The leader of the ship, our King Simbaka's great ancestor led the group and the ship, fearing to even think of the past, and knowing they may never see their fellow animaloids ever again, they erased all memory of their past on earth, till Simbaka met Catsai a few years back.
Since Simbaka's ancestor, Mordovian led the group he wanted to oversee it, and thus became the first king, Rafikin came from his ex master's name but was also a mentor to him as well. The crown has special properties coming from shards of a meteor that had cosmic rays but not harmful to anyone but useful to the one who bears the crown.
All the water mammalians and amphibious types built a city underwater to survive upon as well. And since being off towards the Klingon and Romulan border, it was only just a record in SF files for a long time.
Until of course when the Enterprise led by Captain Picard came upon it when they found our king at the age of 10, when they were keeping an eye on any Romulan activities.
And the newer generations of the planet have kept of the same animal type then mixed hybrids over the years. The kingship has been of Lion and Lioness until Simbaka and Lee of course. Ahhh that is a sad tale...

About 75 to 90 percent believe in Pride Landian Narnianism. The belief that the kingdom is ever protected by Aslan, the great Lion, son of the high seas. That every so often he shows to see that his kingdom is well protected and that all animaloids share in the hunt that bonds them all. His apparitions have become less and less frequent it is true, and some believe he has abandoned us, I do not though... we are growing and... Oh let me not preach now.
Oh, every wedding has the song of Aslan that he sang when he created Narnia is played and sung to give respect to him. And every Christmas the great battle to free Narnia from the White Witch is rein acted, especially after Simbaka getting the throne back from his uncle.
Hmmm, well coming of age would be that for one either son or daughter, must have proved they are loyal to Aslan by a simple battle or test of knowledge.

Gratefuls day, like Christmas is celebrated at the end of the 465 day calendar year. There's of course then the first Tuesday in the 6th month of the 18 months that gives thanks to the rulers of all the work they have done.
Of course there's now the 7th of the second to last month that celebrates the anniversary of when it was discovered of the ancestors arrival on the North Star. Just like the 8th day to praise Aslan's thanks they were introduced after the discovery of the North Star and coming from earth.
Well every 8th day is recommended to give thanks for Aslan that their decedents were able to thrive upon coming to the planet, since it was on the 8th day that they were able to protect from the harshness of the jungles.
The climate is of jungle type nature although it does have its snowy winters at the capital where all creatures do adapt nicely. A 2-mile safety zone from any fierce creatures that could harm anyone protects the cities and the roadways. Such wildlife include: Piranha plants of medium size, both fierce and gentle. Bull type creatures, and flying birds of the eagle type nature. In the seas that take up around 75% or more percent of the world, there is of course Atlantis Landia, the city where all the aquatic animaloids lived at; communication was mostly by the airwaves and sometimes by an Ambassador coming to Pride Landia due to the high water pressure. The world in itself is the 4th planet in the Quadris Solar system with 2 moons, from the surface one can see them easily during the day, with the second one, Genus very close and the 1st one Rafis a bit far away. Pridelandia is the only hospitable planet in the system.

Tourism has had a slow start since the alliances have only been withing the last few years, but daily tours of the main capital have been given. And the Royal Financial Advisor makes sure that we don't slip into debt with our allies, nor do we tax too much out of the people. Finances are mostly of credits, and in case of the Ferengi trader, bars of Latinum as well. There is a stock market type system to help in aid for any business or service that is in need of help.
Hmmm, we have the law enforcement, Our Royal Knight is head of that, and we have the guard. The NSA (North Star Academy) is where you go to train for that. There are not many levels of command so one can stay in one position for such a long time and the hours are long and hard but it is a great honor to be accepted and serve. The NSF (north Star Fleet is our intergalactic division. We have ground troops and all citizens when they come of age become members of the militia though thankfully we hardly need to call out the militia anymore we are much more safe now. Of course and there is the PLBI. The Pride Landian Borough of Investigation. Our forces are all tied in together and there is no real separation I think the best way to describe them for you a foreigner is that they are amphibious um.... ah yes like the Marines yes they are like the Marines. Ah yes! In case of attack, the main capital, buildings and everything can transform into an armored defective grid and the palace has a powerful laser cannon as well. We have planetary defenses in place including new ones to protect us from a breed known as the Imura though we have never had to use it thank Aslan. Plus the Polar base with the Pack. And that is all I am going to say we don't want to let anything slip that ought not eh?
The Main food specialty is Zebra Ribs; either cooked or raw that comes from a cow like creature with stripes like a Zebra. Best served with a special Royalty sauce that the recipe is a closely guarded secret, BAM! Common drink is a Pride Landian Giraffe smoothie, a chocolate tasting drink with foam that would make you feel like your dancing on clouds. If Klingons like Gagh, then Pride Landians like their Zebra Ribs.
Our Leaders? Oh the Royal Family they are a hoot!
Well you should know that Mufasa and Isis were Simbaka's parents. Our dear king has two adopted daughters Shani and Kittain. But after Simbaka finally wed our dear Queen Lee their daughter Isis from the mirror universe came over and now she lives here. Then before her... well her... well her death, Lee gave birth to Iras Sona and Vencento Grineto Rafikin, twin cubs. I think they are the main reason our king could get through the departing of his wife when she passed. Then that whole her coming back but not really? It is hard to tell what really happened, well anyway, also one of the King's former lovers brought a child she bore secretly from him years ago, Beatrice Simlana, she is only a toddling cub. The main thing to remember when meeting either Simbaka is to properly bow and refer to him as his Highness, Majesty or his name. Calling him hairball or furry will probably get you a talk with Nuchtchas, you really don't want that kind of talk with her. Petting might be respected but you must ask first!
Now enjoy yourself in our fair home..... freedom is well respected in speech, although disrespecting the royal family will not earn you friends, we all frown on that sort of thing since we are so happy and love our leaders and home. We also have freedom religion and beliefs. All other empires that are not aliened are welcome with proper identification. Oh and if you see a Klingon who does not dress like other Klingons, she is usually clad in leather and spikes, dark colors you know, she is Nuchtchas. Our Royal Knight. Be careful around her, she is the fierce warrior that protects us; we lived in danger easy for anyone to attack us before she came. She is one of ours, when you see her in the street if you are so lucky as she is always so busy, show proper respect but do not grovel, if she commands anything, comply. She is not one you want to anger. Her temper is short but she is well loved. Again never disrespect her as we would not like to hear of this, the people here owe as much to her as we do our great king for saving us from the evil Scar.
