Klingon Friends
By Jeanna Carragher
Klingons still hold honor, this week the Klingon Pridelandian Alliance was renewed. The Klingons have always been seen as great friends by the PLE as long as we have been intergalactic, our King Simbaka when he was found by the star ship Enterprise soon learned of the honor that Klingons hold in his relations with the Klingon members of the crew and guests including our Royal Knight Nuchtchas, this is where they first met. Then after returning to claim the thrown and overthrow Scar. As Pridelandia has been known in the Galaxy our shores have been welcome to Klingons. Their code of honor and strong women often parallel our own. Not to mention how in physicality we both are larger is size then the average humanoid and have greater strength. Chancellor M'Jar has seen to honor us with continued support and we give him ours as well. King Simbaka is still on Qo'noS in our new Ambassadors quarters and will return soon. Rumor has it the PLE will be sending an ambassadors to Qo'noS to live and work.
Art Show: Offensive or Life?
by Tali Larden
When is art art and trash trash? Who draws the line of art imitating life and life imitating art? This week in the Ain Gallery a retrospective of color and line as the artist calls it is on display. Is it that or smut? Pictorials of various Pridelandian historical figures behind closed doors. From Mordovian and his first days in the jungle to the wedding night of Mufasa and Isis. Even our current King and Queen Simbaka and Lee have a special section and warning this may not be suitable for younger cubs. Though the brushstroke and color is non representational the symbolism is quite clear and it is unmistakably a Lioniod and a humanoid copulating. Who is to say what is art and what is not, but a ruckus was made and the CDF is on the warpath. After interviewing a few patrons it is clear the opinions are mixed, some see it a a beautiful expression of the love that lives in the empire while others see it as nothing more then a cheep thrill. You decide, go take a look.
Comedy Quartet
By Makus Albet
Hiller, Miller, Diller and George return to the PLE's capital city for this week only. This foursome remind us of simpler times, the screwball physical comedy and musical parodies are a sure fire way to clear you mind and end a stressful day. I urge you to go and see the award winning brand of mindless entertainment. A big thumbs up!
Birthdays:
Lioniod Malak celebrated his birthday on March 19th. The PLE staff gave this servant/maid/chef a small party in his honor.
Former PLE heroine Ru would have celebrated her birthday on March 20th. Instead a small memorial was held, no press.
Deaths:
A sad day for PLE comedy, music and actors. Dudles Moorsey past on after battling a crippling disease. He will sadly be missed after his years of entertainment.
"The Roving Raver"
(music scene)
A party and jam for Gutter Poet and SoS was held as they and some other bands released a PLE compilation album containing the best of the PLE rock bands. The show was unstoppable and a downright party.
