Klingon Friends
By Jeanna Carragher
Klingons still hold honor, this week the Klingon Pridelandian Alliance was renewed. The Klingons have always been seen as great friends by the PLE as long as we have been intergalactic, our King Simbaka when he was found by the star ship Enterprise soon learned of the honor that Klingons hold in his relations with the Klingon members of the crew and guests including our Royal Knight Nuchtchas, this is where they first met. Then after returning to claim the thrown and overthrow Scar. As Pridelandia has been known in the Galaxy our shores have been welcome to Klingons. Their code of honor and strong women often parallel our own. Not to mention how in physicality we both are larger is size then the average humanoid and have greater strength. Chancellor M'Jar has seen to honor us with continued support and we give him ours as well. King Simbaka is still on Qo'noS in our new Ambassadors quarters and will return soon. Rumor has it the PLE will be sending an ambassadors to Qo'noS to live and work.
Horrible Crash: Bloody Bodies make mess of 3rd St.
by Tali Larden
During Friday evening rush hour an over turned semi caused more of a mess then any care to handle. The semi was hauling a load of Jumlign eggs when it overturned it caused the closure of 3rd St. for a day and a half. The eggs broke and there was Jumligns running all over. The spokesman for pest control said it took a full crew to contain the beasts and keep them from the public. After that was taken care of the sanitation crew had a fine time of cleaning the mess leftover. The spokesman of the Sanitation department said they got all the stains out as best they could, but the fences need to be repainted and there is no hope getting the red and purple out of the Holickus Flowers proudly on display care of the Isis Horticulture Society. The IHS is not pleased at this news and demand the shipping company make amends, not in monetary means but in some way to make it up to the plant as they say it was the plant who was the real victim. Thankfully no citizens were hurt in this crash aside from a few cuts the driver received.
Wrestling Returns to the PLE
By Makus Albet
After a lack of professional wrestling events the PLE will soon again have events as our world Champion Brujah returns to our Space. A party in his honor will be held at Tawny Paws all are welcome no matter you preference. The CDF have been sent special invitations to the Gala by the organizers in an attempt at humor. The CDF spokesman would like us to note they do not find it amusing at a time when their members are being attacked.
"The Roving Raver"
(music scene)
Thursday was fun as a surprise rave formed on SB23. Out of the blue people got together dancing and partying like mad. A daytime rave but none the less fun fun fun. This quick party was over fast but like the shortest flame it burned bright.
Friday started out in a lull but that soon was rectified as MindlesSanity took stage at the SomeWhere Pub on 12th St. The Energy was pumping and the sound was ON! With the frontman freestyling to his own lyrics and the floor show the audience was laughing and grooving at the same time. Good Job! Then the after party was moved to Tawny Paws as DJ Guy spun the records and we enjoyed a different floor show altogether.
Saturday in what was to be a great night but sadly was not, the bands that played at the Castle Inn couldn't be worse performers if the took lessons from the Dominion. If you stayed home Saturday you were wise.
