WAR OVER! We Won!

Late last evening
the PLE (Pride Landian Empire) along with their allies (Jungla, Klingon, Ralken,
The Pack, Orion Pirate Union) waged final battle against the Shakiris. The Shakiris;
a lizard race that had targeted the PLE home world with plans to annihilate
all who live and work there in hopes to rape the planet of their water. The
PLE home world is estimated to be over 80 percent water with its one continent.
The Shakiris
first started sending scouts and spies late last year, as the PLE prepared for
the impending attack the scouts made pacts with several outlaws including the
wanted felon known as Zira. 
is the one responsible for the poisoning of former Queen Lee Sona Rafikin. Zira
is now in custody after capture during the second wave of the war.
Attacks started
in late April of this year, a first wave hit and was dealt with by the PLE Fleet,
The Pack forces on the Polar Base of the PLE, the ADF of Jungla and the recon
endeavors by the Orion Pirate Union. The first wave was small, by the time the
second wave came the Ralken and Klingon Fleet had arrived to assist. A long
and painful battle lasted, some were not sure it would ever end. Over the days
of battle many lives were lost on both ends but in the end the Shakiris were
defeated. Last night’s final battle was the end of the Shakiris forces, since
the Shakiris have no home, they move from planet to planet using up resources
and moving to the next, there are few surviving. Of those that have survived
they are being rounded up and brought into custody. If you should encounter
a rough Shakiris know they die fastest if you can dehydrate them, but they are
very dangerous and not to be approached by civilians.
As the PLE recovers
from scars left by violence they also prepare for a long celebration for Victory,
as they have lost very many and the toll is still not in the PLE know that joy
and happiness is needed in the land to unite and remind of the hope that fills
the land. Details of this will be announced as they become available.

available for comment but we spoke to the Royal Knight (head of the PLE military)

“The Shakiris thought
just because the PLE was small they were weak, one would be surprised how far
a people can go when their home and way of life are threatened. The PLE would
not take it; we had ground attack as well as ship battles, terrorist type maneuvers
in addition to sneak attacks on the ground. The PLE is a home for the outcasts
of the universe, we are a happy people with honor and discipline, no way could
we allow these scum to take over. To give example of our heart I will tell you
of one citizen new to us, he moved to the PLE not more then 4 months ago, he
loved his home and his new people so much that after being brought to near death
during the second wave he sprang from his hospital bed against safe warning
to battle and defeat the last of the lizards in this last battle. That is the
PLE heart, it is in the faces of the cubs and small ones, it is the people’s
militia that came from their homes and jobs to join the guard and fight, this
peaceful nation is not one to tamper with.” Later in the conference Nuchtchas
said this, “It is a sad heart that we morn all our lost, the lives of those
PLE troops and those of our allied forces. Death is never easy, war is pain
and unfortunate, if there was no need for my job I would be eternally happy.
We are not that lucky, so in thanks to our allies and troops, we mourn all the
fallen heroes.” When asked when we might interview the king we were told, “The
royal family is in morning and gathering together in this time of healing. Security
and propriety demands they have peace.”
