An Empire in Morning

Thursday afternoon the PLE lost their Queen. Queen Lee Sona Rafikin fell after a poisonous bite from a rare bug. Nuchtchas, Royal Knight made an address to the people that very night. A job done by the king on any other occasion but for obvious reasons was taken over by his Knight. So why was this left to a military head to perform? It is belated that due to their close friendship it was an act of friendship rather then politics. Nuchtchas said: "People, citizens of Pridelandia, and the Galaxy. This Message is being sent broadband. A day ago, the King and Queen brought two new lives to this world. Heirs, first Prince Vencentio Grumio Rafikin, then second Iras Sona Rafikin. Then today the Queen was struck down. Bitten by a rare insect her reaction was instantaneous. She fell and died. The doctors think she may have a chance of being brought back. A serum must be made from a rare flower. We will make our every effort to cure her but the prospects are not hopeful. The palace and all other official flags will be flown at half mast, we share in mourning. Let us turn to each other in this hour. That is all." The speech seems cold, yet this reporter has never seen such emotion from the Knight

Upcoming War

The PLE is under attack again? Well perhaps this is quoted from King Simbaka Rafikin:   "Ladies and Gentlemen, if you have or have not known from Wolfpire, we do have a situation on our hands. A race of Lizards, the Shakaris, has gone through a wormhole and is poised to attack our empire. Estimated at around 9 million, its coming at its current rate and speed should reach here in about a months time.  This should give us time to be prepared.  From here on, everyone does their part, its our empire so we want to show how much we care for it. " The guard has been preparing and making ready, getting allied support and sending out teams. The militias have been put on alert and all we have now is to wait.

A Great Celebration on Jungla

    Its a glorious day in Jungla as the King Regent and Queen of the Animaloid Empire, Draxon and Kijanai in an naming ceremony of the soon to be born heir to the Animaloid Empire Throne the child.  The Royal Family prepares for the trip to see the upcoming ceremony of our cousins.  We here at the Pride Landian Times wish to give our cousins the very best in their future generation of the Royal family.
