King and Court Leave for Earth
By Jeanna Carragher

King Simbaka and his faithful friends have left the PLE and set sail for Earth to receive honors from the Pope at the Vatican and to start his Galactic tour of Harmony. Not only will he be at the Vatican but along with his friend Kathor, King Simbaka will be exploring the relics of Old New York. Along for the Journey is the Lioness Guard Kefira Kione, Princess Buttercup and Catsai.
After seeing earth the PLE Dauntless will take them for a trip around the galaxy to visit Jungla, Ralkan, Bajor, and stopping at Qo'noS before returning home to the PLE. It is the hope that this trip will make it clear to the Galaxy the strength and security of the Pride Landian Empire. As we get on with life and rebuild in these post war times, get over the grief of all lost in this last year, we can look to our leaders for courage and to each other for comfort.

Ding Dong the Shakiris are Dead!

Nexus Hockey League

By Mel Sampsioni

Word came from the Klingon Empire that they recently underwent attacks from the last surviving Shakiris, Lizard men from the PLE war. It seems they somehow stowed away on a Klingon vessel and have been acting out terrorist acts over the last few weeks. Through the cunning of the Klingon warriors and time, all the Shakiris are dead. Gone from our shores and the galaxy. The Nexus Hockey playoffs concluded this week. The PLE team got into the finals but lost to the Androids, as they slaughtered us on the Ice. Then the Androids went on to play the Romulans and started the game two up in the first period, but lost in the last. Spectators were amazed as two identical shots were what won the Romulans the game. It is hard to give credit to the Romulans, when people watch the Nexus league the Romulans are the favorite heel but you have to admit they played their cold black hearts out.

What does this mean for the PLE? Aside from our former foes never returning to harm us it also prevents any government blaming us for a Shakiris attack. It is never pleasant to think about the extermination of an entire species yet in this case there are only two choices; let the Shakiris go extinct of let them wipe us out. The choice is clear.
